Rohan, 

Dad and I can't believe how big you have grown! We can't believe you are already 5 months old, and at the same time, we can't believe you have only been with us for such a short while. We also can't remember what life was without you... nor do we care too!    

I can't tell you how many times we just stare and smile as we watch you figure out the world around you. I can't tell you how many times we come check on you while you're asleep, just to see which sleep position you have chosen for that time. I can't tell you how many times we say "I love you." If it's possible to overuse that word, well our home definitely has done just that! I can't tell you how many times we go through the thousands of photos and videos we have captured of you... again and again and again. What I CAN tell you is.. we are completely obsessed with you! Sorry...

You have taught us a whole lot of patience buddy! And don't worry, we know that's something you will always make sure to constantly teach us. We can't wait for all the other qualities you'll make sure to teach us along the road... I'm sure we need them! 

Your eyes are SO big,  and thats the first thing everyone comments on the moment they see you. Ever since you were born, you have been so interested with the world around you constantly staring with eyes wide open! Rohan, you have Daddy's infectious smile (I'm so happy you do!!) and you make sure to use it 24/7! You smile and open those eyes as big as you can at everyone around you.. all bets are on you for a staring contest! You get comments all the time on how handsome you are.. and we couldn't agree more! But more than that.. You have the sweetest disposition! Your little personality continues to show more and more each day.. and you are quite the charmer. 

You are a Daddy's boy and LOVE to be in his arms, especially in the morning right after you eat. You talk to Dad the most and have learned to put up with his kiss attacks quite well. You are a Momma's boy when you need some loves and want to be held lots! You give us both big giggles when we play with you... but lets be honest, we all know Mom is funnier! :) 

You are the biggest ray of sunshine in our home, Rohan. You came into this world at a more perfect time than we could have ever planned. We thank our Heavenly Father for you every second we can. You're more than we could have ever imagined. We need you more than you will ever need us buddy! You're our angel baby! And as far as we're concerned.. you're perfect! 

Oh... and thanks for being our guinea pig child :) 

PS. Even though Dad says we'll never have a dog in this house.. I'm positive if you ask, he won't be able to say no! :)

Learned how to use his hands and grabs at anything nearby

Talk to us constantly and get's our attention anytime we walk away

Laughs lots when other people are laughing loud

Loves the car and talking to himself through the mirror in the backseat

Just recently developed a high squeal when he's excited!

Giggles all the time.. especially when you get his tickle spots! (underarm and tummy!)

He is either REALLY happy or REALLY mad!.. never in between, but usually happy :)

Sucks his thumb the whole time while he kicks back and relaxes in the bath every night! 

LOVES the car and does amazing on road trips! 

Eats every 3-4 hours

First food: Avocado (bad move on our part.. you pooped 5 times that day!)

Making mom consider cutting her hair.. He pulls at it constantly!

Cuddles with us ALL morning on our chests

Favorite holding positions: Dads football position (while he pats your bum!), staring out

Doesn't cry that much.. He will scream if he's mad or whimper like a puppy if he's hungry! 

Puts himself to sleep in bed! (FINALLY!!)

Really loves face timing.. I'm not kidding.

Smiles 24/7 at anyone around

Hair has grown in on the top a lot! (Mom gives him a comb over, Dad spikes it!) 

Hates anything on his feet and will kick it off instantly

Loves being held

Beginning to like when we read to him

Takes some time to warm up to people & show his full personality

LOVES being outside

Favorite toys: little puppy blanket, elephant teething toy, football, frozen teething toys)

Drools constantly.. we have drool stains on every shirt we wear

Perfectly content laying on the ground by himself playing with his toys

is constantly called the "chill" baby... he's just happy to hang out!

Constantly rubs his feet together

Rolls over like a pro (and has been since 2 weeks)

Sleeps 11+ hrs a night

Always sleeps with at least one hand above his head

Loves sitting in his bumbo & high chair

Stares at the TV when Sports are on
