shinnnny hair

I'm a bit of a nut when it comes to my hair...

As some of you may know, I had a ROUGH past with my hair. Every other week I would dye my strands, one time I bleached it so bad that my family called me Malfoy (from Harry Potter), then I dyed it black, and after that I had to chop it off all the way up to my chin because it was that unhealthy. (sorry for the longest run on sentence of the year)

Yeah, we've had some rough times.

Ever since then, I have been OCD. I've been growing my hair out for years now & I'll be honest, I am completely terrified of even trimming it.

I dye my hair maybe once every 6 months, if that. I only trust one person with my hair (Holly Hunter, you are the best) & I'm addicted to making my hair healthy.

I hate when people touch my hair.

I told you, it's bad.

But thankfully, from this experience I've been left with a few too many hair tips.

These are going to sound SO weird.. because they are SO simple.

1. I wash my hair upside down.

This may be hard to explain...

I turn on the bathtub faucet, flip my hair over (to the front, not the back), & wash and rinse my hair upside down.

I don't have all the scientific reasons of why it works better, but it just does. All I know is this way 100% of the shampoo and conditioner is completely removed instead of it decided to move from the top of my head to the bottom & hide there. Have any of you had this problem?

2. I rinse the shampoo with warm water, & the conditioner with cold.

Simple,

The warm water opens the cuticles of the hair, & the cold water closes them. I can't even tell you how big of a difference this makes... but, its MAJOR.

Just from doing these two steps,

MY HAIR IS 432748032408290x SOFTER.

Get healthy & shiny hair y'all, no one likes brittle strands.
