I've always loved a french manicure, but I am tired of the classic white tip & fake acrylic nails. I decided to change it up a bit & add a coral instead.
What you need:
- Hole Punch Reinforcement Labels
- Light pink polish
- Tip color
- Clear nail polish
1. Take one sticker and place the rounded side on your nail bed to create the french tip shape. You can cut these labels in half to save more & have better grip. Depending on how thick or thin you want the french tip, move the sticker up or down. Example below--
2. When the sticker is secure, paint 2 coats of tip color onto the nail. Wait for polish to completely dry. After done, remove stickers. If you get any mistakes, or your line doesn't come out as clean, take a Q-tip dipped in nail polish remover and rub it to remove any unwanted areas. (you can also use a small thin brush) I like to use this step on every nail, it gives my nails the sharp professional french tip line.
3. Use a soft pink nail polish for the bottom half of the nails, giving it an acrylic but natural feel. My favorite is Essie "Sugar Daddy." Paint on the bottom half. (Do not paint over the tip color)
4. Lastly, after polish is dry use a top coat to give the nails shine & secure the colored polish!
AND WALAA!
You didn't pay $30 bucks for manicure
& they look just as good... if not, better.
:)
P.S. Is it that time of the year already?
YAY for the Pass of all Passes!
