Right now, I'm all about the natural & clean makeup--
Illuminating the face, forgetting the eye makeup completely, and maybe adding a tiny color to the lip. With that said, I never want my face to look dull.
SO, I found my new best friend.
Highlighting Powder.
After I put on my foundation, I brush the highlighter on the top outer edge of my cheeks, on my brow line, and the inner corners of my eyes. Whats the point of the highlighter? It brightens those regions, makes the skin look dewy, and illuminates the skin without making it look shimmery like you're some vampire. (my biggest pet peeve). To avoid that look... when choosing a highlighter, pick one that is matte, and has little to no shimmer & glitter.

My makeup regimen basically takes 5 minutes TOPS.
I never have to put anything else on my face.
& my skin feels light and luminous.

Okay now what foundation do you use? And you use this basically as your powder over your foundation?

I use Bare Minerals! Best foundation I've ever used.. its a dewy powder. So it goes on like a liquid, but then you can set it like a powder. I don't use this highlighter as the overall powder though, I put it on verrry last after my makeup is all on and only on some parts of my face! I'm going to do a post about my foundation today! LOVE you!

My favorite highlighters are Mac shell cream color base and lightscapade mineralize skinfinish on top. They look great on both natural skin and over makeup.
